Hekseringen
Vi kommer sammen en gang om årstid i løbet af en dags vandretur for at vandre, opleve livet i skovene i Københavnsområdet og blive en del af dem. Vi faster eller spiser let til at øge kvaliteten af oplevlesen. Efter turen samler vi vores oplevelser omkring et bål og fejrer med lækker mad.
We gather once a season for a day of hiking where we walk, experience life in the forests in the area of Copenhagen, and become a part of them. We fast or eat light to increase the quality of the experience. After the hike we bring our experiences together around a fire and and celebrate with delicious food.

Faste / Fasting
Vi faster for at dykke dybere ned i oplevelsen med mere introspektion, intention, skarpere nærvær og også for at forbinde os mere intimt og dybt med det, vi er i gang med at gøre.
Vi drikker vand og varme drikkevarer hele dagen til at hydreres godt og vi har snacks i rygsæken. Der er ingen risiko for en sund voksen at faste i et døgn. Alle deltagere, der ønsker sig at faste, besvarer en spørgeskema inden turen.
Dem der har lyst til at spise, kan selvølgelig spise så meget de har brug for ind og under turen. Det er nemlig ikke en konkurrence men en invitation til at undersøge grænsen mellem komfort zone og det ukendt og spændende på den anden side.
We fast to deepen the experience with more introspection, intention, sharpened presence and also to connect more intimately and thickly to what we are doing.
We drink water and warm drinks the whole day to stay well hydrated and we have snacks in our backpack. There is no risk for a healthy adult to fast for a day. All participants that wish to fast answer a form with questions before the trip.
Those that want to eat can of course do it before and during the hike. This is not a competition but merely an invitation to explore the frontier between your comfort zone and the unknown and exciting that is on the other side.

Hvem er jeg / Who am I
Jeg hedder Shifa og arbejder dagligt med mad og planter, facilitering, kropsterapi og konflikthåndtering. Jeg har i de sidste 15 år dyrket personlig erfaring med forskellige former for faste, herunder monodieter, intermittent fasting, ramadan og kontemplative vandringer.
Siden sommeren 2022 har jeg samlet folk omkring mig til at deltage i én-dags retræter, hvor vi vandrer og faster. I december 2022 arrangerede jeg også en weekendlang intim fejring af vintersolhverv med faste og vandring. Jeg er ikke læge, men jeg tager stor hensyn til at passe på dit helbred, mens du faster. Jeg har både personlig erfaring med praksis og har studeret fysiologien bag faste.
Jeg synes det er vigtigt at dyrke en relation til skov og ild.
My name is Shifa, and I work daily with food and plants, facilitation, body therapy and conflict management. I have developed a personal experience with fasting for the last 15 years (mono-diets, intermittent fasting, Ramadan, contemplative hikes).
Since summer 2022 I gather people around me to do 1 day retreats where we hike and fast. In December 2022 I have also organized a weekend long intimate celebration of the winter solstice with fasting and hiking. I am not a doctor, but am very fond of taking care of your health while you fast. I have both personal experience with the practice and am documented about the physiology of fasting.
I think it is important to cultivate a relationship to forests and fire.

Update 2024: Jeg plejede at arrangere madlavning til de tidligere arrangementer men gør det ikke længere pga manglede personlige resourcer.
Alle deltagerne er bedt om at tage noget mad til at dele med de andre deltagere ved bålen til slutningen af turen.
Vi deler omkonstinger af brænde til bålet. Resten er gratis.

Update 2024: I used to prepare food for the previous events but I don’t do it anymore because I currently don’t have the personal resources for that.
All participants are asked to take some food to share with the others at the bonfire at the end of the day.
We share the cost of firewood. The rest is free.

- A walk in fall 2024: Around 15 km in the north of Gribskov in Nord Sjælland
- A walk in the spring 2023: one day of fasting and hiking (around 17km) in Hareskoven, by Lyngby sø, following Mølleåen all the way to the beach/sea.
- A walk in the winter 2023: one day of fasting and hiking (15 km) in Buresø forest, through Mølleåstien, all the way to Farum sø where we broke the fast by the water.
- Vintersolhver weekend lang fejring og retræte i december 2022 tæt på Höör i Sverige, med vandreturer i Åsnens national park og Brottets bana)
- A walk in the fall 2022: one day of fasting and hiking (20km), in Roskilde fjordsti, Boserup skov, Bognæs skov, all the way to Herslev strand.
- A walk in the summer 2022: one day of fasting and hiking (17km), on a great part of Amarminoen in south Amager.
"After initiating the circle in Dragør close to the sea, each of us went alone, followed a couple of minutes after by the next one. It was an invitation to a non social and mostly non verbal walk, with you, yourself and what is. At the end of the day, under a light rain, we arrived one after the other and gathered close to Amager Naturcenter, our arrival point. We broke the fast and shared about our experience."
